Basel Dragons Junior Cricket Club is now allowed to resume training, with some alterations to our training program.
We are really glad to have the sessions back on and we hope to see many of the players there.

All competitions are on indefinite hold until further notice with the very earliest update point for this being June 8 (the current assumption is they will be off until September at the earliest). Cricket training will resume from Saturday, 16th May 2020. Training will be outdoor at Bachgraben for the duration of Spring and Summer from 10:30 am-12:30 pm, we will try and run training as much as we can over the summer holiday period to catch up what we have lost and on the basis, all of us are likely more local this year than usual.
Before resuming training, we please ask that all parents and players make themselves familiar with the guidelines within which we will be training.
For this purpose, kindly read through the following documents which are attached:

  • Cricket Switzerland guidelines which we accepted and adopt for BDJCC
  • BDJCC specific guidelines on the use of the nets
  • BS SportAmt guidelines, D only (for reference only the most important points are in E below)
  • Flyer covering the guidelines

It is vital at this time that our members’ contact information is up to date.
If anyone’s information is missing or has changed, kindly inform us immediately and we will follow up directly if there are any gaps we need to be filled in.
If anyone’s membership form remains outstanding, kindly fill in and return to us prior to Saturday’s training session.
For each training session, we must hand in a signed (by the trainer) attendance list that must have all names, emails and phone numbers included before we are allowed to enter Bachgraben. This information will be held by the Kanton for 14 days and then destroyed. This register also confirms we have sent the attached documents and they are accepted by all attendees as the basis for participating in the training.
We please ask that players arrive changed and with their own mask/gloves/disinfectant.
The changing rooms will remain locked and the WCs will be limited access.
For pick up and drop off, please arrive and leave promptly no more than 10 minutes before/after our assigned times.

It is important that we follow these guidelines so the players and coaches can have fun and stay safe while playing cricket
