Dragons 120 for 4 ( Jimmy 25*, Westy 17)   Gingins 85 all out ( Will 2 for 6, Max 2 for 15, Omair 2 for 17)
The Dragons opener was against hosts Gingins.  Batting first the Dragons made a steady start against some good bowling reaching only 42 for 1 after 7 overs.  Taking a few more risks in the calling and running improved things and the runs started to flow.  A late flurry of runs from Jimmy saw the total reach a respectable 120.
Gingins reply started well but Omair was on top form dismissing both openers.  Kieran and Hanaaz steadied the innings until Max bowled them both leaving Gingins in deep trouble on 64 for 4 after 9 overs.  Will and Francis then combined to polish off the last three wickets for a total of 85.
GRYCC 68 all out (Ishan 15, Eden 2 for 19) Dragons 70 for 2 (Jimmy 21*, Max 16)
In Match two the Dragons continued to dominate with the ball.  A steady flow of wickets including two run outs for Francis saw GRYCC bowled out for 68.  The reply was well paced.  Jimmy picking up where he left off to retire on 21 ably assisted by Max.  Zain and Francis finished the job to win by 5 wickets.
Semi- final
Zurich 140 all out (Dayn 21, Antar 22, Omair 2 for 28, Max 2 for 33) Dragons 142 for 4 ( Westy 21*, Will 21*, Francis 20*, Dayn 2 for 16)
The semi-final against Zurich was a very tense match with the outcome only decided in the final over.  Zurich got off to a flying start scoring at more than 10 an over.  Although Zain ran out Aryan with a direct hit from mid wicket, and Max picked up two wickets, the batsmen kept this pace through to almost the end of the innings when Omair stemmed the runs and picked up 2 wickets.  Eden finished off the innings bowling Antar with the first ball of the final over with the score on a very respectable 140.
The reply got off to a steady start with just 19 runs off the first 3 overs.  Francis first with Westy and then with Will gradually increased the scoring rate to reach 94 off 10 overs. Omair then Zain picked up the scoring rate to leave 8 required off the last over.  Omair was caught behind off the first ball then Zain and Westy held their nerve to see us home with two balls to spare.
Dragons 118 for 6 (Francis 30, Will 22, Max 22*, Eden 22, Adil 3 for 20) Cossonay 119 for 3 (Adil 21*, Hemant 20*)
Opponents Cossonay had cruised through to the final comfortably winning each of their matches so the Dragons knew that they needed to set a big target.  Openers Francis and Eden faced some accurate bowling and took the score to 53 off 6 overs when Francis retired. A mid-innings crisis saw Adil bowl Westy with a fast yorker followed by both Jimmy and Omair being run out. At 60 for 3 after 8 overs the innings needed rebuilding.  Will and Max stepped up and took the score to a respectable 103 off 12 overs. Ismail and Adil returned to the attack and runs were hard to come by. The innings closed on 118, Francis top scoring with an excellent 30.
The Dragons needed to take wickets but openers Hemant and Adil had other plans.  Eden and Omair both bowled well but could not get the breakthrough and the score eased to 65 off 7 overs.  Will came on to bowl and quickly had Ismail caught behind.  When Jimmy dismissed Luke LBW it looked like the match might turn but at 104 for 2 it proved too late.  Kabir and Ross saw Cossonay home.
Congratulations to Cossonay for winning the trophy and to Will who won best bowler award for his 4 wickets in the tournament.
