Basel Dragon has a rich legacy of coaches who volunteer their time to the development of our players. Our coaches focus on training, managing fixtures and overall development of the players, that is much beyond Cricket.

Our coaches focus on ensuring good participation and development, as well as many of our players have gone on to represent the Switzerland National teams (not only that, but they also consistently top the charts with their impressive performances). This remarkable success is a testament to the club's commitment to player development and a strong volunteer based coaching support system.

The club is backed by a dedicated group of experienced coaches who volunteer their time year after year. These coaches continuously upgrade their skills through coaching certification programs, ensuring they stay current with the latest techniques and methodologies. Basel currently has 13 active coaches working with squads ranging from U7 to U19, as well as an adult team.

With an average coaching experience of over 5 years and a cumulative experience of more than 50 years, Basel Dragons' coaching staff is among the most experienced in the region. The club boasts 6 ECB Level 2 certified coaches and 4 ECB Level 1 certified coaches, forming a formidable coaching unit that rivals some of the best clubs in leading cricket-playing nations. The dedication of the coaches is evident, with training sessions taking place almost every day, and coaches frequently engaging with players, conducting throwdowns, and managing fixtures during the outdoor season.
